How to play Jelly Mario
The aim is still the same as the traditional: navigate through the perilous passageways, collect coins, evade attackers, and reach the gorgeous flagpole at the end of the level. Familiar obstacles—such as brick blocks, pipes, Goombas, and Koopa Troopas—now react to physical forces, making their movements highly unpredictable. The Art of Manipulating Momentum

Momentum: Mario will not stop when you let go of the directional key. He will keep sliding a little because of momentum. To survive, you have to gauge distances correctly and “brake” early while negotiating small gaps and chasms.
Use Bounciness: Each time you hit a brick or an enemy, you are pushed back. You can utilise enemies as trampolines to go to platforms that would otherwise be out of reach by timing your jumps and managing your speed.
Mid-Air Spin: Tapping the left and right arrow keys rapidly back and forth will make your gelatinous body spin while in the air. This gives you a spin and you may properly modify your angle of descent and avoid obstructions below you.
