How to play +1 Speed Keyboard Escape
Getting Started and Building Initial Speed
When you first enter the lobby, you start at a base speed. Run around the safe zone or across the large keys to rack up your initial speed points.
Seize the opportunity to collect speed-boosting items or coins that appear randomly along the path for the best possible start.
Movement and Jumping Mechanics
Use the arrow keys or your mouse to steer your character.
Time your jumps carefully. Remember, the gaps between these giant mechanical keys are huge; as your speed increases, the distance you cover in each jump grows proportionally.
Watch out for keys of different colours – they can sink fast or disappear as soon as you touch them.
Conquering Checkpoints and Crossing the Finish Line
Look for luminous light strips along the course, which will designate checkpoints.
Make sure you hit these checkpoints to save your progress. If you trip or fall into the void, you'll revive at the nearest checkpoint, without losing the speed stats you've gathered throughout that run.
Reaching the Finish Line Gate earns you "Wins"—the essential currency for making purchases and progressing in the game.
Perform a Rebirth to Break Limits
Once you have accumulated a certain amount of Wins and reached the required speed milestone, perform a Rebirth. This process resets your speed to the base level, but in return, you gain massive multipliers that allow your speed to increase two or three times faster in subsequent runs.
Tips for Mastering +1 Speed Keyboard Escape
Mastering Intense Momentum
When your speed reaches the thousands, your character becomes extremely difficult to control and can easily overshoot platforms.
Get into the habit of tapping your movement keys rather than holding them down continuously. When preparing to jump across narrow gaps, release the forward key to reduce momentum, or use walls to "brake" your character.
Invest Early in Pet Eggs
Many new players hoard Wins to buy cosmetic items, but that is a mistake.
Spend your initial Wins on unlocking Pet Eggs in the starting area. Even a common or rare pet can grant you +2, +5, or +10 Speed per step. Owning 3–4 powerful pets will allow you to reach top speed in just a few seconds.
