Obby +1 Double Jump is a fast paced platformer that tests your skills to jump, dash and navigate through increasingly harder courses. Show your abilities and conquer fun levels with different difficulties.
You have to get to the finish line of each level successfully, not fall and pass a series of difficult stages. Guide your character through obstacles, difficulties, and to the finish.
First, look at the platforms before you jump each time. Decide on your landing spot. Think about whether your movement requires a double jump. If you rush in without knowing the lie of the land you can easily miss leaps and fall.
As you jump from platform to platform, be sure to control your character while in the air. You have to keep correcting your position to land safely on challenging platforms. You can reach the platform with the second jump if you miss the first jump. If you go off track, you can use this extra hop to reorient yourself and land more precisely.
If you encounter a very hard challenge, you can break it into easier parts. Once you have cleared that part, go on to conquer the next task.
Plan Your Jumping
Don't just jump without thinking where you're going to land. Look ahead and commit to a platform where you want to land before you jump. Planning your moves makes the hard parts much easier.
Save Your Second Jump
Avoid using a double leap right after your initial jump. Having it available gives you a significant opportunity to adjust your trajectory if something goes wrong.
Work On The Difficult Parts
If you keep messing up the same hurdle, work on learning that area instead of racing through the stage. Once you learn the timing and the manoeuvre, you will be able to get through it more regularly.
Use Dashes Carefully
Dashing might help you get around quickly, and have an edge over other players, but speed should never come at the expense of precision. Use your dash when you have space to manoeuvre and know where you are going to land.
Watch Other Players Play
When racing against others, you can see how they deal with severe hurdles. Other players might sometimes show you useful paths or ways of moving to try yourself.
Consistently
It’s more vital to finish a stage consistently than to finish one segment really fast. Once you can get to the end without falling consistently, you can start trying to speed up.
