Donkey Kong is an adventure game in which you control Mario. Mario has to make his way through four different, dangerous stages in order to save Pauline from Donkey Kong's grasp. The four single-screen levels—25, 50, 75, and 100 meters—represent the 25 meters of the structure that Donkey Kong has scaled.
You will face 4 levels from easy to difficult:
Level 1: 25 meters (fire and barrels)
As you hop over barrels and oil drums that Donkey Kong has tossed, you must navigate skewed beams and ladders. Break down barriers with the might of your hammer.
Level 2: Cement Factory, 50m
Navigate a convoluted moving conveyor system while dodging cement pans that slip by.
Level 3: 75 meters (springs and elevator)
Avoid the fast-moving springs and time your movements to propel the elevator up the structure.
Level 4: Final Battle, 100m
Donkey Kong is standing on platforms that have eight rivets removed. Mario will save Pauline when the ape falls and all the rivets are gone!
The springs and barrels travel in predictable ways. Before proceeding, take note of a few trends. Although strong, the hammer is only useful for a short time. Only use it when you're stuck or overwhelmed.
Await the ideal opportunity to leap off the elevator and steer clear of the lethal springs. To reduce the chance of being discovered, design the last step such that you can remove all the rivets without having to go back too many times.
